How to avoid pitfalls of taper and twist (Part 2)

This video looks at the performance of 3 wings from Part 1, and evaluates their performance over a range of lift coefficients. Results show that if your aircraft has to operate efficiently over a range of lift coefficients, you may want to use taper to control the lift distribution. On the other hand, if your mission specifies a fairly constant lift coefficient, twisting the wing may be the best option to minimize drag.
